Modeling Utah Population Data
9) When I think of math, I almost never think of the numbers actually representing anything. I am a very visual person, so I need to see what they represent or at least get a good idea. I really enjoy using slopes graphs and it was fun having to use them in something that is actually interesting to me since I've lived in Utah all my life and it gave me a greater visual idea on how our population has grown throughout the years. Even though it's not exactly accurate the further we go out in years, it's still fun to play around with and get an approximate number of how many people will be living in Utah long after I am gone.
